Oh, you got me. Untimely death, oh wait the reality is far more interesting.

Today one of God's creatures was running a scam and said the economy was sound. That pushed the financial markets right off a cliff.

For the unwary out there, just take a look at McCain's economic advisor Gramm and his whole campaign staff. But from what I can tell both presidential candidates are in deep.

You guys seem to forget that Congress was run by Republican until recently. I have an idea that some of you don't understand how that can effect legislation!

McCain might be in deeper but it's hard to tell because he claims ignorance, though everyone seems to agree after today. It's not just the Phil Gramm factor that bring the unease. "McCain's campaign manager [Davis] served as president of a lobbying association that fought to protect Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae from the sort of regulation that McCain is now proposing."

McCain's actions have raised questions about whether he has learned much from his experience getting caught on the take in the Savings & Loan crisis. He sounds like Herbert Hoover as they say.

By the way, Olberman on MSNBC, The Daily Show, The Colbert Reporte, and CrooksandLiars.com is enough to keep the wolves of all parties at bay.

I do believe I've had enough.

On a more serious note, this interview with the conservative US Army Colonel Andrew J. Bacevich, Ret. was great:
